FBA welcomes your participation in its mission! There are many compelling reasons why approximately 700 students a year attend First Baptist Academy (FBA)—chiefly FBA’s excellent college preparatory education informed by a biblical worldview, evidenced in the leadership and faculty’s wisdom and grace in interacting with students

There are also many compelling reasons to GIVE to FBA. FBA produces thinking Christians who are taught to act with integrity and love. Students are educated with rigor and compassion.

Gifts to the Annual Fund, on top of tuition, from parents, alumni, grandparents, former FBA parents, and friends enable FBA to make up the difference between the actual cost of education and the cost of tuition.

A gift of any amount helps FBA continue its strong tradition of excellence in education with an eternal perspective. THANK YOU! If you would like to provide support for FBA’s many programs, donations can be made online or with Visa, Master Card, personal check or money order.

Alumni, there are specific ways you can reconnect with your friends and assist your alma mater, so please click on Alumni to discover how you can be involved.

Students come from over 110 zip codes and 210 churches (only 38% Baptist) for FBA’s education. Parents are grateful that their FBA children have opportunities to try out virtually any extra-curricular activity; to receive assistance for learning differences; to pursue becoming National Merit Scholars—yet without much of the negative pressure that other private schools demand.

However, many of these students would not have had the opportunity to be so prepared without tuition assistance previously provided. FBA’s policy to actively provide Christian educational opportunities to those who otherwise would not be able to afford them is a serious commitment and represents a significant annual financial obligation.

Approximately 28% of the entire student body receives some sort of direct financial assistance from FBA, contributing to our socio-economic diversity. All students applying for financial aid must pass the entrance test required of all students.

Your gift of any amount for Tuition Aid would help keep the ethnic and financial diversity of our student body high as FBA continues to educate and prepare great students (whom we otherwise might not know) to influence their culture and society.

The Saints Athletic Complex allows our students to participate in football, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, track and cross-country. It not only accommodates First Baptist Academy students, but we anticipate that it will also accommodate kids from the larger community, particularly from low-income neighborhoods where the complex is located. We are excited about the outreach possibilities and positive change that sharing this facility, sports camps and the love of Christ can bring to the community.

FBA wishes to those those who have contributed to this outstanding complex. We particularly thank the Hillcrest Foundation, founded by Mrs. W. W. Caruth, Sr., for granting funds for a steel archway that anchors the entrance to the Walk of Faith (on which you can purchase a brick to remember someone special).

Over $1,200,000 and untold volunteer hours and gifts-in-kind have been given for the Saints Athletic Complex. Several items (costing over $2 million) are remaining for completion of the complex. To become integrally involved in this community outreach, please contact our Development office at (214) 969-7861. Thank you, and Go Saints!.
